Directives: Database directives

dbCGI's database directives are used to initialise, connect to, disconnect from, and execute commands and queries against a database, print error output, format the output of a query and take action for each row of output of a query.

<sql init> - initialise the DBMS
<sql connect conn_id> - connect to the DBMS
<sql headings> - format headings
<sql format> - format records
<sql onrow> - take action for an SQL record
<sql execute conn_id> - execute a data manipulation command
<sql query conn_id> - execute a query
<sql error> - format errors
<sql disconnect conn_id> - disconnect from the DBMS
<sql uninit> - clean up after using the DBMS
<sql reseterror> - reset the error flag
