Directives: Template directives

Templates can be used to define a nested sequence that can be used at a later point in the file. The sequence can contain HTML, nested dbCGI directives, and formatting escapes. A template can also have parameters that are populated when the template is used. Templates are comparable to a sub-routine or function in a procedural language.

<sql deftmpl templatename> - define a template
<sql tmplargs templatename> - define arguments for a template
<sql template templatename> - use a template
<sql [templatename]> - use a template with the argument syntax
